Alec Soth exhibition at the Science museum and the Richard Learoyd exhibition at the V&A
One key difference between Alec's exhibition and Richard's is Alec's exhibition had rooms dedicated to different styles and places and this made it seem like he was directing us around the exhibition while Richard's was nearly completely dark with only small lights over each photograph to represent his idea of the dark room as well as this I was unfortunately not aloud to take photographs in the exhibition since my camera has a automatic flash when it senses darkness. Looking back on the photos Alec's photos seem to document what he has seen at the places he has travelled to which adds a documentary feel to his photographs while Richard's where strange and morbid which created a unsettling atmosphere in the room since everything seemed somewhat out of place which was very unique to only his exhibition since it's the first exhibition where I have felt like that.
School trip photos (28th of January 2016) The V&A and Science museum exhibitions
These photos are ones I took going to and from the Alec Soth at the Science museum and our trip to the V&A. I mainly took photos of things that caught my eye or interested me one thing I noticed is all of my photos seem to have some lines that stand out above the rest which I find interesting since this was not my goal for these photos although I am rather glad they fall into a pattern than being misilanious images like I thought they would be.
